If youβve been feeling stretched, disconnected from yourself, or unsure how to meet your own needs alongside parenting β you are not alone.
Restoring You is a nurturing three-part workshop series designed to help parents reconnect with themselves, clarify what truly matters, and build gentle, sustainable ways to feel more grounded and supported.
Held at the Good Shepherd Studios, each Wednesday morning session offers a calm and welcoming space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to restore your energy and sense of self.
This is part of a three-session series. You're welcome to join individual sessions, but we recommend attending all three for the full experience.' Like you have on 17th. I like the 8th where you said we will be back with more- maybe add to follow us on instagram to keep up to date?
The Sessions
Session 1 β Values + Compass Mapping
Wednesday 10 June · 11.45amβ1.15pm
Your values shape everything β from the boundaries you set to the decisions you make as a parent.
In this session, weβll explore what truly matters to you and how your core values act as a compass in family life. Through guided reflection and creative practice, youβll identify and prioritise your key values, helping you move towards a more intentional and aligned way of parenting.
Session 2 β Needs + Self-Connection
Wednesday 17 June · 11.45amβ1.15pm
When was the last time you paused to consider your own needs?
This session creates space to reconnect with yourself beyond your parenting role. Weβll explore the difference between wants and needs, how to recognise both your personal and parenting needs, and why honouring them is essential for avoiding burnout and creating healthier boundaries.
Session 3 β Overcoming Guilt + Self-Compassion Practice
Wednesday 8 July · 11.45amβ1.15pm
βIβve got it wrong again.β
Parenting guilt can be loud, persistent, and hard to shake β often showing up after moments we wish weβd handled differently, or in the pressure to be the βperfectβ parent.
Whether youβre parenting solo, co-parenting, or sharing the load with a partner, unspoken guilt can quietly impact your relationships and your sense of self. When it isnβt communicated, it can build into self-doubt, tension, or disconnection.
In this session, weβll explore where guilt comes from and how to respond to it differently β learning to express what youβre feeling with clarity and conviction, without shame or blame.
Through guided discussion and a creative self-compassion practice, youβll begin to soften your inner voice and move forward with more honesty, confidence, and self-trust.
