Frida Kahlo: Create a 3D Portrait with Mixed Media

Sunday 1 March | 3:00–4:30 PM
Location: Damsel Collective

Step into a vibrant, hands-on creative session inspired by the iconic artist Frida Kahlo.

In this mixed-media workshop, you’ll paint a portrait of Kahlo and bring it to life using a variety of craft and stationery materials to create a bold, colourful 3D artwork. From sculpting flowers for her hair and adding texture to her brows, to designing playful pom-pom earrings, the creative direction is entirely yours.

This session is all about experimentation, self-expression, and enjoying the process rather than striving for perfection. Whether you’re an experienced maker or simply looking for a fun, relaxed creative afternoon, you’ll leave with a unique piece of art and a renewed sense of inspiration.

What to expect:

  • Paint and mixed-media techniques

  • Create a layered 3D portrait

  • Freedom to explore your own design ideas

  • A welcoming, creative environment

All craft supplies are provided.
No prior experience needed — just come ready to create.

Spaces are limited, so booking in advance is recommended.
